The PDF
format is an excellent replacement for paper and has many advantages.
Start using this format in your own studio and encourage clients to
use this format. Virtually every office in Australia has a PC so it
makes sense not to use paper at all.
Photocoping and printing in the studio
- Use recycled paper (see below)
- Ring your council and get a recycling box for your studio or
a private company such as Visy
or ARC
- Print on both sides of the paper where possible
- Use the back of discarded paper for concepting and scribbling. Staple
a heap of paper together to make a sketch pad (great for your kids
too).
